Sive ::: We Are Moving
Yet again I have discovered more of Ballyfermot’s College (BCFE) musical hidden gems. Sive’s new EP ‘We are moving’, may only have two tracks however it leaves you longing for more. First track We are moving is nothing but a pure indie. Lead Vocalist Sadhbh O’ Sullivan’s pure and natural voice progresses throughout the two tracks to show she means business. Her voice glides through each song accompanied by music that is blissful to the ear by Mark Dudley (Electric Guitar), Eoin Hartweig (Bass Guitar) and Patrick Hopkins (Drums).

The stand out song on this EP is without a doubt ‘Carousel’, with its absolute unusualness it gives you the sense that you are listening to a ballerina rotate in a musical jewellery box. The music that accompanies this track is so strange you cannot help but fall in love with the track after your first listen.

Even though Carousel is a stand out track, you cannot help but also love the trippy vibe of ‘We are moving’. The two tracks show the musical variety in which Sive can perform and bring to life.

Sive will no doubt have a bright 2012 ahead of them with this EP.
