Queen Elvis
Little World EP
Queen Elvis have to be one of Ireland's hardest working bands travelling from one end of Ireland to the other bringing their sound into every singer songwriter club and venue they can, Little World EP just shows how much passion and talent this Galwegian folk group have, three songs capture the elements of folk music by the heart and the strong passionate vocals of Caroline K Stanley will leave a distinct feeling to your ears of musical rejoice.

Quiet Rebellion
Thinnest Hope Magnified
Quiet Rebellion (Shawn T Hunter) from Leeds/UK has produced something of a musical feast on this album, with his falsetto voice reaching some heights and notes only made for a electronic instrument, Shawn will bring you on a journey of priceless musical magic and this album holds a very magical message and the message is music in it's purest form, folk driven and very melodic well worth getting a copy for listening pleasure.

QUEEN ELVIS
Eamon Dorans, Dublin 7/1/09
Live review
Galway act Queen Elvis on the night were Colin Stanley on guitar, Geoff Ward on sax/mandolin and Caroline K Stanley on vocals
OK first thing they are not a rock n roll band just by having a name that includes the kings in it, you would be expecting that if you read poster outside a venue, well this act was far from rock more of the folk melodic kind with a lead singer that had a voice of pure emotion and could harmonise with each note to perfection.. as I say this" it really is an experience that you can only feel at a gig but Caroline really gives it all when she is singing live. They played "Rockabye baby" a track from their demo EP and it has pure richness of Irish folk in every way, I would not brand Queen Elvis as a folk band they played some middle road and main stream folk songs but "Round and round and Easy" was just a few to mention that had touches of jazz and pop like rhythm's, I think this could be a new leaf in the singer songwriters tale in Ireland today as Queen Elvis has tapped into an original sound that is fresh to the scene.
