Jet Electro :::
This album from the first track takes you straight back to the swinging sixties. Each track reminds me of the movies about the American high school dance, where girls would wear their polka dot dresses being swung around by men with hair packed with gel, and in the background a band like Jet Electro would be playing.

Jet Electro’s true folk and not forgetting blues style music is accompanied by vocals that are just electric that sometimes the music is not necessary as his confidant voice could carry this debut album alone.

This album is mixed with a variety of songs from up-beat and somewhat corny, to the emotional tracks like “Fingertips”. However that is no flaw in my book, as every album should be able to chuck a bunch of emotional and up-beat tracks into an album, as it gives the listener at least one track to fit their current emotion. And even adding some humour into the album with “100 Girls”.

The stand out track was no doubt “Walter Cronkite”. This track shows the musical talent of Jet Electro. They manage to put a song like this together that seems to just glide along at no set speed, whilst keeping the blues style.

Jet Electro however will have to aim harder towards their niche market, and if they do they are in for success.

Album Rating: 4/6
