Wendy Jack ::: Sunsets

Magic Singer songwriter Wendy Jack may have a cool, quirky name but it’s a pity the same can’t be said for her music. With a similar sound to Luan Parle and Cathy Davey, her sound is no different to what has been done before.

Her music is pretty average and apart from “Sunsets,” that aims to simultaneously raise awareness and funds for the important work of International Charity WAR CHILD, her other song’s aren’t great at all. I listened to the Cd a couple of times and found it quite repetitive.

Keep in mind as a solo artist on a learning curve and working with the likes of acclaimed Irish producer and multi-instrumentalist Bill Shanley and one of Ireland’s leading traditional musicians Ronan Browne, I’m sure Wendy’s music will blossom in time.
