Songs About You
UK singer songwriter Adam Wilson Hunter has put together nine sweet sounding  tacks on his album Songs About You, the album has a very easy listening feel in which Adam controls each song very well, the third track "Do You Call This Love" has a real nice tone with a great story in the lyrics, very commercial sound and feel I think Adam has a fine edge over some singer songwriters that are emerging from the UK simple words with simple melodies but will keep the listener interested.

Daybreak Someplace

One of Ireland's hottest songwriters David Hope has embarked another chapter of music  for  our listening pleasure and this seven track EP is at the peak of fine Irish folk music, from the  first song "See the Ghost" spilling out some pure folk blues and foot tapping melodies to the serenity of track 3 "Trying to Remember" with it's simple chord structures and mood shifting lyrics,to finishing off the EP with "When we were Kings" full of beautiful lyrics wrapped in a soft sound, this has to be the finest chapter in David's music career.

Kobayashi
Kobayashi
Debut album Minus

South London UK has been nourishing this band from the beginning and now it's time for Kobayashi to let the rest of the world in on their sound! Minus is a debut album with  eleven tracks of musical depth, perfect for the muso who love their chill out bands to listen to,  each track has it's own story engraved in melody with twists and electronic curves, but this album is a great way to let go and  relax to some super tunes reminds me of a new age Pink Floyd  . Top marks for the production on the album each track is mixed to flawless perfections.

Turn Into Twilight

Nick Tate UK singer songwriter has put all the right ingredients together to make a smashing album and Turn Into Twilight is it, Ten songs of good honest lyrics and vocals full of heart and passion, Nick has laid  down some great tracks on this album "Good Life" upbeat with a  hint of pop to drive the vocals this is a great little number. There is a real fresh tone  coming  from the album with some cool jazzy melodies and soft pop beats especially in track five "Unnecessary" moody with some nice changes in the song the chorus makes the song... very catchy, "Tongue Tied" is another one very laid back with a nice acoustic tone and some very passionate tones coming from Nick's voice, overall the album has got tons of potential superb stuff.

Actions, Reactions & Misunderstandings

Debut EP from Zalinski a fine quality band from the UK, If you like good rock music with a  dash of funk well you got to get your hands on a copy of this EP very lively from the start of the EP  kicking in with "Apology to the Feminine" good solid beat with a catchy tone almost an anthem feel to the song  excellent stuff, the second track "Revelation" shows some great vocal skills i love the reggae feel coming from the rhythm and the way the song evolves into a rock beast of a tune. this would be the funky tune on the EP "Soar" it's got some nice jazz tones in the vocals just above the funk driven beat, Track four "God" has a very big sound with some sweet funky bass notes baked below the heavenly sound almost orchestral rock...superb. The final track "Alive" is a live tune it's got a very melodic feel the kind of song to get you moving at a live show, excellent stuff.

Sanzkrit
Sanzkrit1
After The Wedding
Four piece Irish band Sanzkrit will be the highlight in Irish indie festivals in 2010 and if the band can produce the product live what is streaming from this album I'm sure they will be a hit, enforced pop with a electronic rock edge Sanzkrit has created on this album almost too good to be a debut but it's a debut album with punch, tracks like "Leave The Lights On" and "Hey Hey Hey" have almost an  American teen cult sound and they compliment the album to highest degree.

 I Drank As I

Prior knowledge of Hitman Lord tells me to expect intelligent pop/rock. 'I Drank As I..', the follow up single to 'Wanna Healing Music' doesn't disappoint.

'I Drank as I..'  is an elegant, tasteful, sophisticated mid-tempo track, almost a soundtrack to a dream sequence. It is beautifully, delicately mixed.  I defy you not to sway along.

'I Drank As I' is an excellent piece of music, proving Hitman Lord is one of the best songwriters around and a leading light for a new decade.
